The nearest airport is situated in Kuusamo, 25 km from the WMOC center. There are airports also in Oulu (215 km) and Rovaniemi (195 km).

The nearest railway stations are in Oulu (215 km), Rovaniemi (195 km) and Kemijärvi (135 km) from where you can go on by bus to Kuusamo and Ruka.

Bus transport is arranged between accommodation, WMOC center and competition venues. The organizer will arrange a bus service to all training events and races, starting near the event centre. Bus service can be booked at a cost of 25 € for whole week. (15 € for children up to 14 years) or 30€ (20 €) if you book after 1 April 2007 or later.

The usage of own vehicles is allowed. The parking fees to the competition venues: cars 15 € per week and buses 30 € per week.

Ruka, Kuusamo center and the surrounding areas offer plenty of different alternatives for accommodation:

- cottages
- camping sites

Minimum reservation time is for 5 days.
