WMOC 2007 pre-competition takes place in Ruka close to the WMOC centre in July.

Invitation: The official pre-competition event is the national orienteering competition Koillismaan Rastipäivät (Northeastern Finland’s orienteering days) in Kuusamo, from July 22 to 23, 2006.

Evening Races: KEV arranges evening orienteering race on Wednesdays from May to September. A weekly invitation can also be found in the local newspaper Koillissanomat always on Monday or Tuesday.
